Savage new with body
Nitro powered RC trucks are awesome, and thats pretty much that. It's a great hobby if you're mechanically inclined and you don't mind spending some time working on your vehicle(s) (sometimes more time than you spend driving them) I'd like to expand more on this but for now I'll just post a few pictures. If I can eventually figure out how to do it, I'd like to add some videos at some point as well.
The pictures Below are of my 1/8th scale HPI Savage21. It's the original model which I pre-ordered when it was first introduced. It's 4 wheel drive (shaft driven) and came with a 2 speed transmission (with slipper clutch) and a .21 size engine.
Some upgrades I've added to my truck are a 3 channel FM radio system, high torque servos (a must have for steering), heavy duty driveshafts, a 3 speed transmission and a reverse module. I also replaced the pull start with a roto-start system.

brand new Savage MT
Here's a pic of my Savage when I first got it. (sitting on top of a car battery so the wheels are off the ground while I break in the engine) It's all shiny and new.

savage jumping
Here's an example of what I do to it on a regular basis.

Savage in the snow
Even in the snow..

not new anymore
Here's what it looks like now. If your Nitro RC truck doesn't end up looking this bad, you're doing it wrong.
